Oak Island Scenic Walkways: SE 9th Street

The scenic walkways on Oak Island, North Carolina provide beach access, walking trails, different views of the Davis Canal and Montgomery Slough. Come check out the 9th Street Walkover with me:
As you travel over the long bridge on the 9th Street Walkway there is a floating dock on either side of the walkway. You cross the bridge on this walkway to cross over the Davis Canal and the Montgomery Slough. Benches along the bridge allow for a longer stay to enjoy the scenery.
There is a sidewalk from the walkway to the beach access allowing for a safe trip to the beach! It took me a total of 6 minutes to walk the 9th Street walkover from the beginning of the bridge to feet in the sand!
